Wow, what an experience. Out of 600+ does Delight made it to being 3rd over-all.

Welcome to my web site!

I have to say that showing goats is more fun then you can imagine.
For me it is a win, win situation.  I always work hard to win and sometimes it works.  When it doesn't, there's always another chance at another show.
I say that someone has to win and be Grand, so I work at it.
Judges like what they do, and like my Mom says, "I will pop up like daisey".  So, you can bet I am there to give it my best shot with the best goats I have everytime.

Please take the time to go through the site.
I thought there needed to be a larger "arena" for people young and old to have a place to talk about what they want, how they feel, and just anything that pertains to goats.

Gossip about your goats all you want.  There is a message board, pages for advertising your breeding farm, what you have for sale, and a place to even talk judges.

I have provided a place for all of you, whether you show boer meat goats, fullblood or percentage, dairy milk goats, if you are into the commercial market goats or show in jackpots only.
You may discuss what you know about.  Please keep it simple and to the point.

Craig County Free Fair. Can you blame us? We had a blast!

There is a page, on the Forum, just to talk judges.  You may rate them for lack of a better term.  Tell everyone what your perception is of their choices at the shows you attend.
I am aware that at times there is politics played in any livestock show world, but I always do my best when I show my goats.
Judges are not always sanctioned by any organization, and have a variety of opinions.
In Oklahoma and other states the agricultural teachers play the part of judge at many of the county shows and jackpots.
If you don't know what a "jackpot" is, it is where you pay and entry fee, and basically wager the entry fee to hopefully get it back, or a portion of it, if your goat is in the top 3-5, depending on how many are in the class.
They are fun, especially if you win!
I have won a few, and placed high enough in many to get money back.  Although it isn't about the money, it is a place that provides you with the opportunity to show your goats between the breed shows.  At least that is what I use it for, it keeps me practiced up and my goats in condition.
Besides I like showing my goats, I hope you do too.

Check out the pages with photos.  If you are a youth, under 18 and have photos you want to send and have posted, send them to me, I will see what I can do.
Be sure to include your name, where you are from, when they were taken, and what show you were at.
I will only place youth photos for free.

If you are a breeder and want to advertise, sorry you have to pay, I need some support to afford this spot on the web, and invite you to place ads to keep your stock in the lime-light!
Thanks for visiting and give me your feedback.
