SHOWMANSHIP MAKES A DIFFERENCE

BASIC SHOWMANSHIP

Each breed of goat has a different style of showing.  Even the difference in the sexes can require a showman to be equipt with the knowledge of "how do I show my goat to the judge?"

Dairy breeds are exhibited differently than the meat goat breeds. Even the dress is different from what an individual would wear if they are showing boer goats.

Bracing a wether is so much different then showing a breeding doe.  Bracing a wether has become the norm at many of the wether shows across the country.

Showing a breeding doe does not require bracing.  Some breed associations have rules against bracing breeding stock, and so do many of the jackpot/market shows.
