Last August, I purchased wethers from David Parr in Alex, Oklahoma. They are nice animals, and I have had
fun showing them in the OYMGA shows. They will go to the Oklahoma Youth Expo in March, and if I can get them fit, I
might do well.
I have bought does from Blue Ribbon Boers in Earlsboro, Oklahoma. As a matter of fact the first doe I bought was
from Mary and Jim Daniel. Her name is Blue Ribbon Polly Anna, and we have won many first place ribbons and Grand
and Reserve Grand Championships with her. Polly and I are not done, so you can expect to see us until she is bred in
the Fall of 2007. I didn't enter her in the Oklahoma Youth Expo, because I didn't want to have to sell my Polly Anna.
She means so much to me, I love her. I love my other goats too, but Polly is my first reall show goat, so I am keeping
her.
I have a couple of new does from Show Me Boers in Neosho, Missouri. I have one fullblood larger doe that was
the Junior ABGA show Grand Champion Fullblood Doe in Cleburne, Texas. I will be taking her to the Oklahoma Youth
Expo also. I have another younger doe that is a percentage that hasn't been weaned yet, and I will have fun showing
her too.
Another great place to buy a nice doe is the Broken S Ranch in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma. Mr. and Mrs. Swepston are
super nice people. I have one very nice doe from them, her name is "Joy". She is about as correct as they come
and she is also going to the Youth Expo in March. I have won first place with her and I have shown her in
the meat goat shows. She has also been shown in the ABGA shows with the Swepston's and done very well.
I have seen other breeders goats, and let me tell you, there are some nice animals out there, if you can get your hands
on them.
