| Thank you David Parr for selling wethers to me. |

|
| David and Misty Parr are from Alex, Oklahoma |
| Waiting to show at the OYE 2007 |

|
| Keeping everyone warm and clean before the show. |
Showing Wethers is tough. You have got to get a good goat,
which is a broad statement. What is a good goat? What does that mean? Who has the correct definition?
Wethers are turned into little atheletes as one person told
me. So it is hard.
I like to show does, I find it easier, but wethers are part of
it, so here are some pictures of the past wethers I have had. Win or lose, I like all my goats.
This year I have better wethers. I didn't make the
sift at the OYE this year (2007), but I did do well with two of my does. One was 2nd in her class and the other
was 6th. The doe that placed 2nd was thrid over-all. I won a $1000.00 scholarship. WOOHOO.
| 2006 Craig County Spring Livestock Show. |

|
I bought three wethers from the Watt's Farms in Harrodsburg, KY in 2005 and
took them to the 2006 Oklahoma Youth Expo and showed them in our Craig County Spring Livestock Show a week before the expo.
I was fortunate enough to win first place with one of the wethers at the Spring
County show, but at the Youth Livestock Show, that is a whole different ball game, and hopefully this year I will do a little
better. You never know until you get there and see what everyone else has.

One of my first wethers that I raised to show was Johnny Uno. He
was a pretty nice wether, and I loved him a whole bunch.
I showed him in 2005 at the Craig County Free Fair. He was second
in the Market Class, and I also showed a doe that was first in her Market Class.
At that time our free fair showed Open and Market Classes, but mixed
the sexes. Since the participation has grown over the years, they have now seperated the sexes and teh open registered,
unregistered, and Market classes.
Market classes are only for 4-H and FFA kids. Open are for anyone
at any age to show, as long as they are residents of our county.
It is nice to see the changes as the paricipation grows in our county.

| 2006 Showin Kids Goat Camp |

|
| This is always fun and you learn a bunch |
One thing I have done for the past two years is go to goat camp.
Sounds funny, but I have learned so much. The first year I went was in 2005. It lasted for three days. My
mother drove me back and forth. It took about 45 minutes to get to there. Mr. Phil Stacey, his son, Justin, and
Mr. Baker, put on the camp. It is lots of fun, and I think anyone that wants to learn to show should go. If it
weren't for Mr. Stacey, I wouldn't be near as good at showing as I am now!
Thanks Mr. Stacey, see you this Summer again for a third year in a row.
This was another one of my favorite wethers. Orlando Bloom.
He was second at the Craig County Fair, and I finally made the premium
sale!
